Privacy Policy

Choosing health coverage means sharing sensitive details about yourself and your family. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we need it, who we share it with, and the control you keep over it.

Effective August 10, 2026 Last updated August 10, 2026

Insurify Health is a licensed insurance brokerage. We only ask for the information we need to quote, recommend, and enroll you in coverage — and we never sell it. If anything here is unclear, call us at 310.427.1645 and a real person will walk you through it.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Insurify Health ("Insurify," "we," "us," or "our") and describes how we handle information collected through our website, our online forms, our scheduling tool, and our conversations with you by phone, text, email, or in person.

It applies to prospective clients, current clients, employer groups we serve, and visitors who simply browse the site. It does not apply to the privacy practices of insurance carriers, government exchanges, or other third parties who maintain their own policies once your information reaches them.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what we receive from carriers and partners on your behalf, and what is gathered automatically when you use our website.

Information You Provide

  • Identifiers — first and last name, mailing or street address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, and phone number.
  • Demographic details — date of birth, and the dates of birth of dependents or children you wish to include on a plan.
  • Household and employment details — household size, income range, employer name, and group size, where these are needed to determine subsidy eligibility or group plan pricing.
  • Coverage details — your current plan, preferred carriers, doctors or prescriptions you want covered, and the type of coverage you are shopping for.
  • Communications — the content of messages, form submissions, and notes from calls or meetings with our agents.

Information We Receive From Others

  • Eligibility, enrollment, and commission records from insurance carriers and general agencies.
  • Quoting and plan-comparison data from licensed insurance technology platforms.
  • Referral information, when an existing client or partner introduces you to us.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser type, operating system, screen size, and general language settings.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address — typically city or region, not a precise address.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on the site, and the referring site that brought you here.

What we do not collect on this site: we do not ask for your Social Security number, financial account numbers, or medical records through our web forms. If enrollment requires that information, it is collected directly through the carrier's or exchange's secure system — not through this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use what you share with us to do the job you hired us for, and for the ordinary operation of a licensed brokerage:

  • Preparing quotes and comparing plans available in your area.
  • Determining eligibility for subsidies, special enrollment periods, or Medicare programs.
  • Submitting applications and completing enrollment with the carrier you select.
  • Responding to your inquiry — including our commitment to contact you within 24 hours.
  • Servicing your policy: renewals, plan changes, claims questions, and annual reviews.
  • Sending administrative notices, such as open enrollment deadlines and renewal reminders.
  • Improving the website, understanding which pages are useful, and fixing problems.
  • Meeting our legal, regulatory, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations.
  • Preventing fraud and protecting the security of our systems and our clients.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human review by a licensed agent.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or unaffiliated marketers. We share it only in these circumstances:

  • Insurance carriers and general agencies — to obtain quotes, submit applications, and service the policy you choose.
  • Government exchanges and programs — including state marketplaces, Medicare, and Medicaid, when your application requires it.
  • Service providers — vendors who host our website, deliver our email, host our scheduling calendar, and store our client records. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Your authorized representatives — a spouse, family member, employer contact, or advisor you have designated.
  • Legal and regulatory — when required by law, subpoena, or a state department of insurance examination, or to establish or defend legal claims.
  • Business transfers — if our agency is merged with or acquired by another firm, client records may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Health Information & HIPAA

Some of what you tell us — a medication you need covered, a condition that affects your plan choice, a doctor you want to keep — is health information, and we treat it with corresponding care.

When we act on behalf of a health plan or an employer group health plan, we may function as a business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). In that role, we use and disclose protected health information only as permitted by our agreements and by law, and we apply administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to it.

We ask that you not send detailed medical history, diagnoses, or claims documentation through the website forms or ordinary email, which are not encrypted end to end. Call us and we will provide a secure way to share those documents.

6. Calls, Texts & Email

When you submit a form or book a meeting, you are asking us to contact you, and you consent to be reached at the phone number and email address you provide — including by call, text message, and voicemail — regarding insurance products and your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is never a condition of purchasing coverage. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, or ask any agent to remove you from outreach lists. We will still send transactional messages about a policy you hold — renewal notices, for example — because they are part of servicing your coverage.

We may record or take notes on calls for quality, training, and compliance purposes where permitted by law, and will tell you at the start of a call when recording applies.

7. Cookies & Site Analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site functioning and secure. Analytics cookies help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through the site so we can improve it.

Our scheduling page embeds a third-party booking calendar so you can pick a meeting time without leaving our site. That provider receives the information you enter when booking — your name, email, and selected time — along with basic technical data, and handles it under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the site work. We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.

8. How We Protect Your Data

We maintain safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit to our website, access controls limiting client records to licensed staff who need them, monitored and password-protected systems, and vendor agreements that require comparable protection.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us knowing that. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

9. How Long We Keep It

We keep client and policy records for as long as you remain a client and afterward for the period required by insurance regulations, carrier agreements, and tax law — generally several years past the end of a policy. Inquiries that do not result in an application are kept for a shorter period so we can follow up meaningfully, then deleted or de-identified.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law and our regulatory recordkeeping duties, you may ask us to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we have used and disclosed it.
  • Access a copy of that information in a portable format.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Delete information we are not required to retain by law or by our carrier obligations.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services you requested.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before acting — usually by confirming information already in your file — and will respond within the timeframe the law allows. You may use an authorized agent, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

11. California Residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the rights described above regarding the categories of personal information we collect — identifiers, demographic and protected classification characteristics, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation, and inferences drawn from them.

We collect these categories for the business purposes described in Section 3, and we disclose them to the recipients described in Section 4. We have not sold personal information, and we have not shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sensitive personal information, including health-related details, is used only to provide the services you asked for.

California's "Shine the Light" law also allows residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

Certain information we handle is governed instead by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, HIPAA, or the California Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act, which carry their own protections and notices.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 16. We do collect limited information about minor dependents — typically a date of birth — when a parent or guardian provides it to add that child to a family health plan. That information is used only for quoting and enrollment. If you believe a child has provided information to us directly, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services, technology, or the law changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify current clients directly. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact Us

Questions about this policy, or want to exercise a privacy right? Reach us directly — we answer every inquiry within 24 hours.
